A Story About The Value Of Kindness.
A Story About The Value Of Kindness:
This is a wonderful story about the value of kindness and you never know — one day it may be repaid: Dr Edith Eva Eger in her book “The Choice”, offers important advice: She tells how she survived Auschwitz Concentration Camp during WW2, and that when she arrived, she was asked to dance and as a result she was thrown some bread as a reward. Instead of eating it herself — she shared it amongst others. These others remembered this when she needed help years later. She had broken her back, and yet she was still forced to walk the very long journey to another camp. If they dared to stop walking — they would get shot. So her friends remembering her kindness, cradled her in their arms, in order to reach the camp alive. This is why it is always important to be kind. What you give, will always come back to you — often and hopefully, just when you need it to. 🙏
