Ukraine, A Mirror For Us All.

Just like Ukraine that straddles the East and the West, its people wanting to leave the old behind, whilst reaching out for the new, is a reminder of the every day challenges we can face when any of us try to make changes; when obstacles seem to emerge, sometimes even from nowhere, to test our resolve.

But if we can manage to keep our hearts open and hold onto what we hope to achieve, no matter how long we try, positives usually do emerge that make the struggle worth it.

And what happens now in Ukraine and how the world reacts to Russia and all its oligarchs and money laundering, will prove interesting.

We have all been complacent for far too long. Governments have been warned for many years about Putin’s plans, so no surprise there.

But the lesson for us all is not to become complacent and that change takes time.

In the meantime we can keep our hearts open, and we can keep on smiling, sending love and hope to all that are suffering.
